About

In 1998, an organization fostered by the entrepreneurial spirit of The Bard Center sprang from the enthusiasm of the Center’s first graduating class. Those graduates envisioned an organization where Alumni could “stay connected” with the Center long after they’ve completed their courses. The Bard Center for Entrepreneurship Development Entrepreneurship Council provides that connection for Bard Center Alumni, current students, and 11-month MBA.

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to support, encourage, and assist Bard Center students, past and present, as they grow their entrepreneurial spirit.

Events

The Entrepreneurship Council is an interactive organization driven to provide networking, educational, and many other valuable functions throughout the year. Entrepreneurship Council events provide excellent opportunities for alumni and students to exchange ideas, experiences, and contacts with other members, CU-Denver and Bard Center Staff, Advisory Council members, and members of the Denver business community.

Lectures

The Entrepreneurship Council brings local and nationally recognized speakers to the Bard Center addressing issues fostering the entrepreneurial spirit.

CEO Exchange

The CEO Exchange is a group of Entrepreneurship Council members, CEO’s, and other business leaders who meet every other month to discuss topics pertaining to business and strategy.

Networking

Networking though the Entrepreneurship Council is your most valuable resource. Any successful entrepreneur knows that a solid network of contacts in one of the keys to success and new ideas. The Entrepreneurship Council hosts numerous events throughout the year designed specifically to allow you to get to know other people in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
